Tennis/ATP – Kevin Anderson is retiring

15 years, 7 titles, 2 Grand Slam finals, here is the career of the South African athlete.

After a big injury a few years ago, Anderson never came back at his top level. His last appearance on the tour was in Miami when he lost twice in the same tournament. First in the qualifiers, then against Juan Manuel Cerundolo in the 1st round as a lucky loser.

We remember his two Grand Slam finals, the first in 2017 at the US Open when he lost against Rafael Nadal and in 2018 at Wimbledon against Novak Djokovic. 2018 was his best year, he reached the 5th place at the ATP and took part at the Masters in London. Another defeat against Djokovic in the semifinals despite the victories against Kei Nishikori and Dominic Thiem.

All the best of the rest of his life !
